Charlotte + Mike's Rustic Blush Wedding

I'm finally sitting down to post the design work I did for my sister and brother in law's wedding, which was well over a year ago! I photographed these pieces ages ago and I'm so happy I'm finally getting a chance to show them off!

They got married last May at Pine Lake Ranch under an old oak tree, so the bride wanted a rustic feel with spring colors (see their save the date here). We went with a blush, gray and used straw kraft packaging with the panel card and envelope. It was a fun, laid back design with a lot of character and charm. I feel like wedding invitation trends these days are far less formal, and this design was a lot of fun to create! Click the images to enlarge.

There were three inserts included with this invitation: RSVP card, map, and one for general wedding info. Maps are always my favorite thing to make!

I love a wedding that I can design all the print pieces for! Those don't come about very often, so when they do I have a lot of fun with the various pieces. After the save the dates and invitations come the day of print pieces. For this wedding, I designed some cards with information about the wedding as well as the surrounding area to be included in the welcome baskets for wedding guests staying at the hotel. Decided to change things up and go with a beautiful watercolor ombre background!

Last up were the programs! I like to keep these pretty simple. No need for multiple pages. Just a nice sturdy paper and an eye catching design to make people want to grab one and save it! Since the bride and groom were saying their vows under an oak tree, I incorporated one into the design, and I think it turned out perfectly. It was very light and subtle but still had a dramatic effect, in my opinion. My program unfortunately got damaged on my trip home, so I was not able to photograph it. Need to try and get ahold of a fresh copy (if there's still one out there) so I can show you the real deal! For now, here is a digital copy :)

Well, that's a wrap! I can FINALLY check this wedding off my to do list. Feel free to share :)
